What to expect

See where East meets west with a private tour of Mostar – a city where minarets and church spires rise above ancient stone houses. You'll cross the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina, and discover sights such as the world-famous Stari Most bridge and the bazaar.

Mostar is a melting pot of cultures and religions. The UNESCO-listed old town is packed with grand buildings from the Ottoman and Habsburg eras. Historic mosques and imposing cathedrals dot the skyline in the shadow of the 2,000m-high Mt Velez.

Your guide will lead you around the cobbled old bazaar, a well-preserved traditional Turkish home and one of the many mosques. After the tour, you'll have the afternoon free to explore for yourself. Spend some time in the old craft shops or enjoy lunch overlooking the Stari Most bridge on the River Neretva.
