What to expect

Picture being driven through sandy beaches and seaside villages of the idyllic Athenian Riviera, plus watching the sunset next to the Temple of Poseidon on this half-day trip from Athens to Cape Sounion.

Once collected, you'll reach the otherwise hard-to-get-to Sounion. Be dazzled by the famed landscape that surrounds the area. Hear about the times of the ancient Greeks, and sacred ground dedicated to the gods Poseidon and Athena.

Marvel at the Temple of Poseidon perched upon the cliff’s edge 70 meters above the sea. Walk the blessed earth of the Sounion, one of the places sung about it in Homer’s Odyssey. Stand upon the same cliff where it is said King Aegeus threw himself off. Plus, watch the sunset over this legendary horizon to complete an unforgettable experience.
