What to expect

Discover Bali's paradise island of Lembongan with a day aboard a sleek catamaran. Catch some rays on deck as we cruise to the white sands of Lembongan's beaches. If you feel like a dip, cool things off with some surfing, swimming or snorkelling before lunch at a beach club.

Settle yourself on the decks or the comfy nets while you sailing off Bali's southeast coast, surrounded by epic scenery. Hit the shores of Lembongan, and you'll enjoy free time to sit back and relax on the sand, explore the surroundings, enjoy a banana boat ride or, for experienced surfers, catch some of Bali's best breaks.

After lunch at a beach club, we round off with an island tour including a visit to the famous rocky coast known as Devil's Tears, and a sampan tour of the mangroves. Then it's time to hop on board the catamaran for the return cruise back to base.

This tour ticks all the boxes for a great day out in nature. A jam-packed outing with visits to a butterfly park, the Jatiluwih rice terraces and Leke-Leke Waterfall to name a few. And, to top it off, a tasty lunch is thrown in, too. Our expert local guide, Nuri, says “the rice terraces at Jatiluwih Village are among the most beautiful in the world, maintained by a traditional and ecological irrigation system used since the 9th century, the Subak system, a practice unique to Bali that incorporates philosophical and spiritual beliefs.”Start the day off wandering around Bali's Butterfly Park in Tabanan, a butterfly and insect conservation area with hundreds of butterflies, including some rare Indonesian species like the birdwing, Bali peacock and the paradise birdwing. Take a stroll through maze-like gardens as you take in the colourful insects fluttering around you. Then, you'll stop by the Jatiluwih rice terraces, which boast UNESCO World Heritage Site status.Continue into the countryside and you'll head to the mountain resort of Bedugul and Lake Beratan. Here, you'll discover the iconic Hindu Shaivite temple of Ulun Danu. Sat on a small viewpoint overlooking the lake, the temple is home to the Goddess of Waters named Danu, who's believed to control the island's irrigation system. Finally, you'll visit Leke-Leke Waterfall, a peaceful cascade that's tucked away in northen Bali's jungle. After a stop for pictures and some time to unwind, you'll start the journey back to your accommodation.
