Take part in a private tour of Bergamo and discover the modern lower town. You'll begin your experience at the train station: your guide will take you along the main alley built in the middle of the 19th-century up until Porta Nuova; from here, you'll enjoy the stunning view over the skyline of the upper town.
You'll then cross to the "Sentierone", still the favorite shopping street of the Bergamask people, and you'll walk to Torre dei Caduti created by the sculptor Giacomo Manzù in honor of Italy’s partisans.
Your tour continues on to the captivating and mystical ancient cloister of Santa Marta and it ends in the middle of the best shops, boutiques and restaurants of the Lower Town. Make sure to taste the famous regional “polenta e osei,” the Bergamask dessert, and look around the shops for the best souvenirs to take home.
