What to expect

Regardless of the Scottish weather, it's always a splendid day for an outdoor adventure. Your journey begins in Edinburgh, heading towards the Forth Bridges Viewpoint. These three bridges, inaugurated in 1890, 1964, and 2017 respectively, beautifully complement each other despite their differences.

It’s a fantastic spot to stretch your legs before continuing into Loch Lomond & The Trossachs, Scotland’s premier national park and the cradle of Scottish tourism. This park is renowned for its landscapes, wildlife, and history, encompassed by ancient woodlands, Jacobite history, and home to red deer, golden eagles, and otters. Your adventure continues to Loch Katrine, a 13km-long freshwater lake that has been Glasgow's water source for over 150 years. Loch Katrine is also rich in folklore and literary history.

You can pedal along the scenic shores, embark on a cruise on the Sir Walter Scott Steamship, or simply amble by the lake. The next stop is Glenturret Distillery, Scotland’s oldest operational distillery with origins dating back to 1763. After a tour and tasting session, you'll return to Edinburgh in the evening.
