What to expect

Discover Copenhagen's progressive city planning and architecture by bike. On this cycling adventure, you'll uncover hidden treasures that many tourists often miss, plus learn about Copenhagen's architectural evolution and the principles fuelling its eco-conscious city planning. Local guides will provide both an enlightening and personal narrative of the city's urban landscape.

Copenhagen's urban planning, which merges the contemporary with the traditional, has become a beacon of inspiration for numerous other cities around the world. However, there's more to its architecture than just striking design. Wherever you venture, sustainable and human-centric concepts shape Copenhagen's layout and construction – making it one of the most eco-friendly and welcoming cities globally.

While the inner city undoubtedly offers plenty to see, this tour takes you further afield: Observe the impressive rejuvenation of former industrial areas into lively community centres as you traverse Copenhagen's harbour. Witness firsthand how Ørestad's architecture marries modern design with sustainable living, and uncover how historic sites like Kødbyen and Israels Plads have been reimagined into dynamic, eco-aware spaces.
