Uncover the beauty and history of Japan on a day trip to Miyajima and Hiroshima, departing from Shinagawa Station in Tokyo. Start your trip aboard the high-speed Shinkansen, enjoying a scenic journey to Hiroshima. Upon arrival, a local guide will greet you at Hiroshima Station to kick-start your adventure.

Your first destination is the island of Miyajima, renowned for the floating torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through the shrine complex and appreciate views of the torii gate emerging from the sea—an especially magical sight during high tide. Discover tranquil temples and gardens, enhanced by cherry blossoms, adding a special touch in spring.

Following your exploration of the island, take a brief ferry ride back to the mainland, offering views of the coastline and shrine from the water. Next, proceed to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, a place of reflection dedicated to the victims of the 1945 atomic bombing. Arrive early at Shinagawa Station to board the train smoothly. You’ll travel on your own, as the guide will not join you on the train. Upon arrival in Hiroshima, your guide will be waiting outside Hiroshima station, at the Shinkansenguchi Hiroba Bus Berth, with an Amigo Tours sign.
