This tour allows you to explore two of Poland's most significant UNESCO World Heritage sites - Auschwitz-Birkenau and Wieliczka Salt Mine - in a single day. Your adventure begins early, ensuring you can make the most of your time. To keep your energy levels up, you'll enjoy a tasty packed lunch featuring Polish delicacies.
On the way to Auschwitz I, you'll have the opportunity to watch an informative documentary about the history of concentration camps in Poland. Once there, you'll join a tour led by a certified museum guide for approximately two hours. Following this, a short transfer takes you to Auschwitz II – Birkenau, located just 2 km away. Here, you'll spend around an hour exploring with the same guide.
The second part of your day involves a trip to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, one of the world's oldest operational salt mines that has been producing table salt for over seven centuries. You'll embark on a 2.5-hour guided tour that takes you up to 140 metres underground covering a tourist route spanning over 2.5 kilometres, filled with chambers boasting incredible carvings and statues, all made from salt.
