Beschreibung

Europas höchster aktiver Vulkan beherrscht das tägliche Leben auf Sizilien. Auf dieser aufregenden Tour steigen Sie in eine Geländewagen-Safari ein, um einige der am schwersten zugänglichen Teile des Nordhangs des Ätna zu erkunden. Carmelo, einer unserer ortskundigen Guides, erklärt: „Die Geländewagen-Fahrzeuge nehmen Routen, die mit Rücksicht auf die Gesundheit und Sicherheit der lokalen Umwelt geplant wurden.“ Sie werden auf dieser Tour die Sartorius-Krater sowie Lavafelder und Höhlen besuchen und in einer Weinkellerei eine Weinprobe erleben.

Sie beginnen Ihr Abenteuer mit einer Erkundungstour auf der Straße und im Gelände mit einem Geländewagen und besuchen die beeindruckende Lavafront von 2002, ein Zeugnis der Kraft des Vulkans. Anschließend fahren Sie durch den dichten Wald zu den Sartorius-Kratern, die während des Ausbruchs des Ätna im Jahr 1865 entstanden sind und die Nordhänge des Vulkans neu geformt haben. Auf dem Weg dorthin erfahren Sie, wie es ist, neben einem aktiven Vulkan zu leben, und können die widerstandsfähige Vegetation beobachten, die in dieser Umgebung gedeiht.

Es bleibt Zeit für einen Spaziergang inmitten der einzigartigen Landschaft. Auf einer Höhe von 1.750 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel haben Sie einen großartigen Blick auf die weitläufige vulkanische Umgebung. Zum Abschluss machen Sie einen kurzen Abstecher zu einer Lavahöhle, bevor Sie die Tour in einem örtlichen Weingut beenden. Hier können Sie bei einer Verkostung einige der Weine probieren und eine Auswahl typischer Ätna-Produkte wie handwerklich hergestellten Käse, lokal angebaute Oliven und Honig genießen. Excursion à faire absolument,très intéressante et bien organisée en petit groupe Notre guide était très sympathique,expliquait d'une manière très intéressante et clairement l'histoire des cratères et éruptions de Etna Nous avons pu voir des endroits peu fréquentés et faire la petite randonnée au sommet d'un cratère inactif avec une vue magnifique Très ********** dégustation de vin avec plateau de produits produits sur place Le système de talkie-walkie pendant le trajet ne fonctionnait pas bien

Det står 2200 m men blev drygt 1700 är ok men rätta till det i formuläret. Man behövde inga varma kläder. Vinprovningen var suverän, väldigt trevligt bemötande, rikligt med tilltugg och väldigt gott, sammantaget väldigt bra.

Guide was very knowledgeable. The excursion was all day. We had some nibbles with the wine tasting but was not advised we could purchase lunch which would have been nice or offered with the tour - we would have paid more to have lunch .

Then, you'll traverse through the dense woodland to reach the Sartorius Craters, formed during Mt Etna's eruptive episode in 1865 that reshaped the northern slopes of the volcano. Along the way, you'll learn about what life is like living next to an active volcano, whilst witnessing the resilient vegetation that thrives in that environment.There's time for a walk amid the unique landscapes. At 1,750 metres above sea level, you'll get some great views of the sprawling volcanic surroundings. You'll round off with a short hop to visit a lava cave before ending the tour at a local winery. Here, you'll sample some of their wines during a tasting session along with a selection of typical products of Etna, like artisanal cheeses, locally grown olives and honey. A light lunch is also included with a typical rustic appetizer. A great way to end a day of exploration.
