Der sympathische und sehr umsichtige Fahrer hat die Halbtägige Tour zu einem tollen Erlebnis gemacht. Die Moschee ist einfach nur überwältigend und einige andere Sehenswürdigkeiten konnte man im Vorbeifahren bestaunen. Den Besuch des Dattelmarkt fand ich nicht so gut, das ist aber natürlich "Geschmackssache". In Summe kann ich die Tour mit einem super Preis - Leistungsverhältnis sehr empfehlen.
Your tour of Abu Dhabi will start with pick-up service from your hotel. You will settle inside your climate-controlled vehicle and set off on a 4-hour tour.
You will learn how Abu Dhabi grew into today’s metropolis following the mid-20th-century oil boom, and how it now consists of skyscrapers, mosques, and malls set on an island and riveria-like breakwaters.
On this tour you will visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the city’s showpiece and world’s third-largest mosque. Adorned with intricate Islamic art and carvings, this marble-clad mosque opened in 2007. You will admire the marble domes and courtyards, and view the main prayer hall, graced with giant chandeliers and the world’s biggest handmade carpet.
After the visit to the mosque, you will take photos by the Emirates Palace hotel, and visit the Heritage Village, a recreation of a traditional oasis settlement. You will also browse the craft workshops and souk, and see displays of Bedouin tents and falaj irrigation channels.
After driving along the Corniche past mosques and glass high-rises, stop to admire the city’s magnificent skyline from the end of the breakwater.
Finally, you will take a panoramic drive around Sadiyat Island, home to a dazzling new cultural district. You will admire the still-under-construction futuristic landmarks including the Louvre and Guggenheim museums, both designed to cement the city’s position as a major cultural destination.
Your tour will then conclude with a hotel drop-off.

You can shop, explore artifacts and watch artisans making pottery, blowing glass and weaving fabric on a loom.
