Tu excursión comenzará con un maravilloso recorrido por la pintoresca carretera costera que ofrece una espléndida vista del Golfo Sarónico. De camino al famoso Cabo Sunión, pasarás por algunos de los suburbios más bellos de Atenas (Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Varkiza).

El Templo de Poseidón se alza sobre una colina rocosa que domina el mar. Disfruta de las magníficas vistas del Egeo. Considerada una de las vistas panorámicas más impresionantes del mundo, se extiende hasta Kea y el Peloponeso.

El Templo de Poseidón se construyó en el año 44 a.C., y muchas de sus columnas dóricas originales siguen en pie. Una de las columnas tiene un grafito dejado nada menos que por Lord Byron a principios del siglo XIX. Hay mucho más que decir sobre este pintoresco lugar, pero es mejor verlo una vez que oírlo cien veces.
