Kick off wandering around Bali's butterfly park in Tabanan – the perfect opportunity to encounter rare and endemic species of butterflies. You'll stroll around acres of grounds and maze-like gardens as you marvel at the colourful insects which flutter around you. Then, you'll stop by the emblematic Jatiluwih rice terraces, which boast UNESCO world heritage status.
Continue into the alpine countryside – home to some of northern Bali's most impressive rice terraces – and we'll ascend to the mountain resort of Bedugul and Lake Beratan. Here you'll discover the iconic Hindu Shaivite temple of Ulun Danu. Sat on a small promontory of the lake, the temple is home to the Goddess of Waters named Danu. Then, head north and stroll through the jungle canopies to end the tour on a high, with the chance to see a spectacular waterfall.
