Qué te espera

Su aventura comienza cuando su guía experimentado lo recoge en un cómodo minibús por la mañana para explorar el famoso Círculo Dorado.

Comenzará en el área geotérmica Geysir que alberga cientos de coloridas aguas termales y dos géiseres (aguas termales en erupción). Uno se llama "Geysir", que ha dado su nombre a todos los géiseres del mundo. Hoy, sin embargo, estalla muy raramente. El otro géiser se llama "Strokkur" y entra en erupción cada 5 minutos hasta 40 metros.

Avanza hacia la cascada Gullfoss, el agua derretida del segundo glaciar más grande de Islandia, Langjökull, cae en un profundo cañón formando las majestuosas "Cataratas de Oro". En un día soleado, puedes ver el glaciar Langjökull a lo lejos y disfrutar de un arcoíris en la niebla de la cascada, ¡un éxito de taquilla de Instagram esperando a suceder!

Visitará la granja Efstidalur, propiedad de la misma familia desde 1850. Este negocio familiar islandés se apega a la cultura agrícola tradicional islandesa y se centra en la cría de vacas y ganado. Podrá disfrutar de sus sabrosos productos lácteos de la granja a la mesa, ver la impresionante vista a la montaña y ver a los simpáticos animales.

Termine el recorrido visitando el lugar donde las dos placas tectónicas, la placa norteamericana y la euroasiática, se están separando. Pocos lugares en el mundo ofrecen una visión mejor y más clara de esta enorme actividad geográfica. El lago natural más grande de Islandia también se encuentra en el Parque Nacional Thingvellir y alberga una gran variedad de peces y aves. Thingvellir es también un lugar importante para la historia nacional islandesa. En Thingvellir, los islandeses fundaron su parlamento en el año 930 dC, donde los jefes tenían su reunión anual cada verano. El nombre "Thingvellir" se traduce como "Llanuras del Parlamento".
