El recorrido autoguiado con audioguía comienza en la entrada del yacimiento arqueológico de Akrotiri, situado al sur del pueblo moderno que lleva el mismo nombre. La forma más fácil de llegar es en coche o autobús. Una vez en el aparcamiento de la playa roja de Akrotiri, siga la carretera que le lleva al yacimiento arqueológico. El recorrido finaliza en Xeste 3, un gran edificio dentro del yacimiento arqueológico. Desde allí, siga las señales hasta la salida.
