Silves and Monchique half-day tour from Albufeira

De gids Mario heeft de trip tot een hele leuke trip gemaakt. Veel gezien en te weten gekomen over de Algarve.

Onze chauffeur Mario: een topper! Nam alle tijd voor uitleg. Plukte aardbeien van de boom om te laten proeven, plukte granaatappels voor ons enz enz. Tijd maakte niks uit. Complimenten voor Mario.

Silves (fortress & cathedral) were well worth seeing, as was the countryside. Windy and cold at top of Monchique. View was hazy and obscured by poles and wires. No public toilets there. Would have liked to have learned more about the harvesting of cork.

Mario was an engaging and informative guide. He went beyond the description enthusiastically and proactively. We learnt so much more about Albuferia and Portugal. So we recommended it to other residents in our hotel Perfect when you only have a short stay
