Je wordt opgehaald door je gids zelf, die je dwars door het binnenland en via binnendoor weggetjes naar de oostkant brengt. Dan ga je met je kayak het mangrovegebied in, met heel veel informatie van de gids over de mangrovebomen, de dieren die er wonen en de sponzen en oesters die op de wortels leven.

Start at Lac Cai beach and follow your guide as you paddle to the mangrove. Admire the breathtaking sceneries around you and look down through the glass bottom of your kayak. Paddle through the mangrove tunnels and spot various types of birds. While snorkeling one of the mangrove tunnels, you will be amazed by the different varieties of fish, coral and sponges.
The mangroves are a very important part of Bonaire and are internationally protected by the RAMSAR Treaty. It is considered as a nursery for many species of wildlife. Back on Lac Cai beach, you can enjoy a bit of fruit punch with a snack and your guide will show you a place to spot turtles. You can snorkel here on your own, if you wish.
