Retken kuvaus

This Reykjavik walking tour is your introduction to the country. It will help you get your bearings and make the most of your stay in Iceland, recommended as your first stop in Reykjavik (well, maybe check into your accommodation and drop your bags off first)!

The family-friendly tour brings the history of Iceland to life with exciting stories and Icelandic mythology. Visit all of the famous landmarks in the city center, such as Harpa Concert Hall, Reykjavik Harbour, Hallgrímskirkja Church (you'll learn how to pronounce that), Reykjavik Pond, and the Parliament Building. You’ll also discover hidden, local spots like a visit to an Elf home, and other things you’d miss if you didn’t know what to look for.

Feel the unique, friendly atmosphere of this quirky little city, not just to see the most popular tourist attractions. Have a small lesson on the Icelandic language so you can not only walk with a Viking but talk like one too. The local guides will be showing you their favorite places to eat, drink and visit (and also have an intimate knowledge of happy hour deals that they're happy to share).

We chose the Walk with a Viking tour on our first day in Reykjavik. It was a great way to be introduced to Iceland, learn some history and have some fun. It rained heavily throughout our trip so my advice is dress for the weather, but go out and enjoy. Our Viking guide was lovely, very entertaining and very knowledgeable

The joining instructions just need to be more specific. Apart from this the tour was great, tour guide very knowledgeable, funny and we saw things we would have missed if we were not on the tour.
