Mettez le cap sur la belle vie lors de cette croisière en catamaran de luxe vers le terrain de jeu de Cancun : Isla Mujeres. Cette journée d'excursion est entièrement VIP. Vous commencerez par un enregistrement réservé aux membres TUI, puis monterez à bord du catamaran flambant neuf en direction de l'île, juste au large de la côte de Cancún. Vous n'aurez plus qu'à vous allonger et à vous détendre dans le confort de ce bateau lors d'une journée réservée aux adultes, avec bar à volonté.

En chemin vers Isla Mujeres, votre équipage jettera l'ancre sur un site exclusif de plongée en apnée. Les coraux dans cette zone appartiennent à la barrière méso-américaine, la deuxième plus grande barrière de corail au monde qui s'étend du Mexique au Honduras sur plus de 1 100 kilomètres. Vous pourrez plonger, nager et faire de la plongée en apnée (équipement fourni) à la recherche des tortues de mer, des raies et des poissons tropicaux.

Une fois sec, vous accosterez à la pointe nord-ouest de l'île Mujeres pour vous rendre au Zama Beach Club. Une zone est réservée à votre groupe, afin que vous puissiez vous sentir comme lors d'une escapade de luxe dans les Caraïbes. La baignade en mer devient une baignade en eau douce avec les deux piscines, bordée de chaises longues et accompagnée de plats mexicains frais lors d'un brunch exclusif. Une fois que vous aurez assez flotté, mangé et paressé au club, l'équipage du catamaran vous ramènera sur le continent.

Cozumel guided snorkelling and island tour from Cancun

Hop aboard a super-speedy boat headed to Cozumel Island, where the turquoise waters of the Caribbean and its marine life are waiting. Soak up the breathtaking landscapes before snorkelling at two of the most famous reefs in the southern part of the island, Palancar and Colombia. They're separated by a couple of metres of open water, so you'll have wall-to-wall reef to explore. Next stop is the shores of El Cielo – which literally means ‘the sky' in English – as it's famous for its peaceful atmosphere and giant starfish population, which you'll find covering much of the ocean floor. You'll also have the chance to see stingrays and other sea creatures during your time here. Afterwards, there'll be some time to relax and check out the views from El Cielito Sandbar, before heading towards the centre of Cozumel.For lunch, you'll get to try some of the region's typical dishes at a vibrant, local restaurant with an ocean view, before rounding off the day with free time to wander around Cozumel Centre. Afterwards, you'll enjoy a cenote swim and visit a Maya village for lunch.It's an early start so as to be the first to arrive at this UNESCO World Heritage Site – the perfect time to snap a few selfies. The stillness adds even more mystery to the magnificent Maya monuments. There's the mighty Kukulkan Pyramid, the Temple of the Jaguars and the macabre Tzompantli, among many landmark sites. ‘The bas-reliefs that tell us about the magical beliefs inspired by their interpretation of the stars,' says Argelia.Next, head to an underground cenote for a swim in its clear waters. Then it's on to the village for lunch. All the food is locally grown and prepared to traditional recipes. Argelia says, ‘You'll taste typical Yucatecan food such as chaya empanadas, cochinita pibil, chicken in axiote rice and black beans and steamed vegetables.' You'll also see the locals show off their skills hand-weaving hammocks – an age-old craft – and find out how this cottage industry helps support the community.

Aventura Mayas Jungle Park excursion with traditional lunch

If you're all about action and adventure, a day of fun-filled thrills awaits at Aventuras Mayas jungle park. Get behind the controls of your ATV to navigate your way through the jungle by ATV, and feel the thrill of flying through the treetops by zipline. And when it's time for a break, there's a Mexican buffet with a selection of traditional dishes on offer. Juanito, one of our local guides, says, "In some of the lines, you glide just above the jungle canopy. In others, you can go upside down, while another has the ‘Superman' option. There's even a ‘flying hammock' for you to try out. It's truly exhilarating."Arrive at the park and after a quick safety briefing from the instructors, we'll crank up the excitement. The order of the activities will be decided on the day to make sure crowds are spread out, and you can enjoy your experiences to the maximum. You'll swoop through the treetops on a seven-line zipline course, where you can soak up panoramic views of the park from above – and you can choose from four different flying modes.Then head back up top to take a break with a buffet lunch of local favourites – the Yucatan's signature pulled pork cochininita pibil is usually on the menu – washed down with water and coffee. After fuelling up for the fun to come, it's time to tear across the mud and zoom through the jungle driving your own powerful ATV vehicle.
