Préparez-vous à découvrir l'un des sites historiques les plus importants et à en apprendre davantage sur son histoire. Votre guide vous racontera comment la ville a été ensevelie sous les cendres et la lave en fusion lors de l'éruption du Vésuve en l'an 79. Au cours de cette visite, vous pourrez observer une image vivante de la vie à l'époque de l'Empire romain, il y a environ 2 000 ans. Les premières fouilles ont eu lieu au 18e siècle et, après 250 ans de fouilles, environ 75 % de la ville a été dégagée.

Lors de la visite guidée de 2 heures à Pompéi, vous aurez également l'occasion de visiter certains des principaux monuments publics et maisons des ruines de Pompéi. À la fin de la visite, vous disposerez d'un peu de temps libre pour explorer à votre guise avant de rejoindre Sorrente en bus vers 13 heures.
