Difficile d'accès et difficile à y vivre, il est encore plus difficile de le quitter. J'adore ses spécialités locales, comme le fromage frit au mojo et la confiture de figues de Barbarie".

L'itinéraire varie selon votre point de départ, mais vous pouvez vous attendre à visiter Masca, Teno Alto, Los Silos, ainsi que des points de vue tels que le Lomo Molino, au cœur du parc rural de Teno. Masca, perché de façon précaire sur un précipice surplombant une gorge profonde, abrite moins de 100 habitants. Pour eux, la petite chapelle, le laurier massif et la vue sur la gorge sont un plaisir quotidien. Très apprécié des randonneurs, Teno Alto est encore plus petit, coincé entre des paysages lunaires et des collines riches en végétation.

Los Silos est le plus grand village que vous visiterez. La place principale, avec son église néogothique blanche et son kiosque à musique octogonal, respire la convivialité. Vous ferez également quelques arrêts à des points de vue panoramiques afin de vous imprégner des paysages de Teno. Pour terminer la journée, un déjeuner typique de Tenerife est prévu dans un restaurant familial situé sur le flanc d'une montagne à plus de 1 000 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer. Sites & Bites: Icod de los Vinos and La Orotava’s bananas and wine

The pine forests and coastal cliffs of northern Tenerife give it a natural and rugged look, but it's the volcanic, fertile soil that provides the area with its star attractions. From vineyards and orchards to banana farms and ancient trees, you'll see and taste Tenerife's home-grown highlights on this half-day tour.First up is Icod de los Vinos, a 16th-century town with a great view of Mount Teide. But even Spain's highest peak can't steal the attention away from the Drago Milenario, a thousand-year-old dragon tree that takes pride of place in the town's botanical gardens. This incredible specimen stands at over 20 metres tall with a canopy that's spread to over 300 main branches. Your guide will explain more about why this native tree is a cultural symbol of the Canaries during your visit.
