This full-day tour is a chance for thrill-seekers to conquer the bubbling white-water rapids of the River Dalaman. You'll head out in a raft with an expert guide, so no experience is required. Then after the action, you'll sit down to lunch and the chance to pick out some top photos and videos from your day.

The route is tailored to the group, it's easier for families and more intense for adventurers. Beginners, pros, and everyone in between can join in on this rafting tour. You'll travel towards Dalaman where a buffet breakfast will welcome you to the experience. You'll be shown the equipment and given a lesson on rafting rules before heading out onto the water, which can be surprisingly chilly.

From there, you'll head downstream, navigating the turns and twists with your guide to help you along the way. Take the chance to look up, and you'll find you're surrounded by forest scenery and wild nature. Then, once the adrenaline has worn off, you'll have lunch and pick out your photos and videos.

Full-day Dalyan river cruise check-out tour to Turtle Beach

If your return flight departs late in the evening, then this is a great way to make the most of your last day in Turkey. There's lots to look forward to, including a scenic Dalyan riverboat cruise, an anti-ageing mud bath and a riverside lunch. You'll also have some free time on Iztuzu beach, renowned for its turtle sanctuary. At the end of the day, you'll be able to freshen up and refuel before your flight in a nearby no-frills hotel. A magical spot with a dramatic setting, new resorts were planned here in the 1980s, but these were scrapped and instead some areas of the 4km long beach are protected for nesting Loggerhead turtles.'Cruise down the River Dalyan on an eco-boat designed to minimise impact on wildlife, heading for the mud baths.
