Con questo tour combinato delle grotte di ghiaccio con passeggiata sul ghiacciaio farai due incredibili esperienze. Prima di partire per il ghiacciaio, cammina con i ramponi intorno alla lingua del ghiacciaio.

Le grotte di ghiaccio, accessibili solo in inverno, vengono aperte ai visitatori quando l'acqua di disgelo sotto il ghiacciaio si congela e lascia dietro di sé questi tunnel di ghiaccio. La passeggiata al ghiacciaio dura circa 45-55 min.

Il punto d'incontro si trova presso il parcheggio degli autobus del Parco nazionale di Skaftafell, di fronte al Centro visitatori. Provenendo dal parcheggio visitatori imboccare il sentiero che porta al Centro Visitatori, svoltare a destra alla fine del sentiero, e poi ancora a destra al parcheggio degli autobus.Il parcheggio si trova alla fine della strada n. 998 che si dirama dalla strada principale n. 1.
