De Similan eilanden zijn ongerepte juweeltjes in de Andamanse Zee. En met hun koraalriffen, verborgen stranden en tropische regenwouden vormen ze een droombestemming. Je neemt een snelle catamaran om de dag door te brengen met eilandhoppen, snorkelen en zwemmen.

Je tocht begint in Khao Lak. Je vaart dwars over de oceaan met de wind in je haren zo naar het Similan Islands National Marine Park. Terwijl het er nog niet druk is, meer je eerst aan bij Donald Duck Bay. Je strijkt neer op het hagelwitte zandstrand of maakt van de gelegenheid gebruik om Sail Rock te beklimmen voor een panoramisch uitzicht.

Dan ga je verder naar Honeymoon Bay. Tijdens het snorkelen kom je van alles tegen: van brutale clownsvissen tot majestueuze mantaroggen – om nog maar te zwijgen over het levendige koraal. Simply amazing trip. 6am pickup from hotel to boat. Breakfast at the pier so don’t worry about ordering a breakfast box at your hotel. 1.5 hrs across 65km of ocean was super fast :) Islands are amazing, the water is out of a movie almost. Snorkelling was awesome and saw loads of fish and a turtle came to swim with us which was magical. The staff on the boat looking after us were brilliant. This is a must do trip! 11/10

I cannot rate this trip enough! The islands are fantastic and the guide and crew were fabulous! There was constant drinks available and we were fed breakfast, snack, lunch and snacks when we got back. The snorkelling is insane, the wildlife was even better. We saw basically the whole cast of Finding Nemo (minus Bruce luckily!) with a guest appearance from Crush ?? ?? we also saw flying foxes and a large monitor lizard just mooching. I will never forget this day!!

Keine erfahrene Schnorchelbegleitung.

The trip was amazing, breakfast on arrival as the pier, a quick safety chat and then we got loaded onto the boat. The islands and water are breathtaking. Yes it gets busy but it was pretty quiet when we went so I would recommend the early bird as it was started to get busy when we were leaving.

The 2 islands were amazing and the sea crystal clear. Saw amazing fish, a large green turtle flying foxes and a nicobar dove. The staff especially jay jay were so friendly and helpful and food and drinks were plentiful. Negatives were being bitten by mosquitoes whilst eating lunch, tried to climb to the big rock but needed warning in advance of no safety in some sections Journey to islands and back was tedious and so noisy and uncomfortable not a proper catamaran

Then swap culture for nature with lunch at the beach and a visit to a turtle rescue centre. Malee, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘You'll have some fun getting to grips with Thai Boxing moves, but the original purpose of Muay Thai was not about fun. It began centuries ago when the army developed battlefield tactics for unarmed combat. These ancient combat techniques eventually evolved into the popular sport we know today.'It's all about getting to know Thailand's authentic side on this tour. First, we'll stop by the local school to see how Thai children go about their morning routine. Next, it's on to a temple to offer the Buddhist monks a small donation in exchange for good karma and a sacred bracelet.
