FlyOver Iceland is een meeslepende vliegervaring. De rit maakt gebruik van geavanceerde technologie om de gast het gevoel te geven dat hij vliegt. Gasten hangen met bungelende voeten voor een 20 meter hoog bolvormig scherm, terwijl de film je meeneemt op een spannende reis over IJsland. Special effects, zoals wind, mist en geuren, worden gecombineerd met de beweging van de rit om een onvergetelijke ervaring te creëren. Voordat je vlucht begint, word je ondergedompeld in de magie van IJsland tijdens evenementen voorafgaand aan de rit.
De vlieggidsen, een verhalenverteller en de vaste trol Sú Vitra nemen je mee op twee unieke avonturen die je fantasie zullen prikkelen met verhalen over IJsland, zijn bevolking en de natuurkrachten die er werken.

Het FlyOver Iceland-gebouw is een herkenningspunt in de wijk Grandi. Dit prachtig ontworpen gebouw huisvest niet alleen de FlyOver Iceland-vlucht en de voorshows, maar ook een souvenirwinkel met zorgvuldig geselecteerde lokale producten, foto's van de vlucht en unieke souvenirs. Op de begane grond bevindt zich ook een café waar u voor of na uw virtuele vlucht kunt ontspannen.

As most things in Iceland, the experience is quite expensive considering it's only 30 min overall. It's actually even more appropriate when you do a couple of the local trips like South shore and the Golden circle.
