Enjoy a full-day exploration from Osaka with two amazing itineraries showcasing Japanese culture and history. You can choose between the following options available in the order box:
Option 1: Nara, Kyoto, and Fushimi Inari
This tour takes you to Nara Park, where hundreds of deer roam freely in a peaceful natural setting. Then, visit the famous Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll admire its impressive wooden architecture and enjoy panoramic city views, including the sacred Otowa Waterfall. Stroll along the historic Sanneizaka and Ninenzaka streets, filled with charming tea houses and traditional shops, before arriving at Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, renowned for its thousands of red torii gates forming magical tunnels up Mount Inari. The day ends with a comfortable bus ride back to Osaka.
Option 2: Himeji, Kobe, and Nara
This route begins with a visit to the majestic Himeji Castle, one of Japan’s best-preserved fortresses and a World Heritage Site. Next, explore Kobe’s vibrant Chinatown, where you’ll have time for lunch and to wander its lively streets full of flavours and shops. The tour continues to Nara Park, offering free time to visit the impressive Todai-ji Temple, home to the Great Buddha, and enjoy the surrounding nature. Finally, return to Osaka, concluding a day discovering some of western Japan’s most iconic sites.
