Set a course for the high life on this luxury catamaran cruise to Cancun's playground, Isla Mujeres. It's VIP all the way on this daytrip. You'll begin with a dedicated TUI check-in to board a brand-new catamaran that'll whisk you away to the island, just off Cancun's coastline. Stretch out and relax in the comfort of this boat, complete with an open bar.

En route to Isla Mujeres, your crew will drop anchor at an exclusive snorkelling spot. The corals here are part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System, the second largest of its kind in the world, stretching from Mexico to Honduras – that's over 700 miles. Dive in for a swim or snorkel (equipment is provided) to look for resident sea turtles, rays and tropical fish.

Once you've towelled off, you'll dock at the northwestern tip of Isla Mujeres and head to Zama Beach Club. There's an area reserved for your group here, making it feel like your own private Caribbean retreat. Swap the sea for a freshwater dip in the two pools, relax on the sunbeds and feast on fresh Mexican fare at an exclusive brunch. After you've finished splashing, eating or lounging at the club, the crew of the catamaran will sail you back to the mainland.

There are two ways to enjoy this trip:

Adults-only – available on Tuesdays, if you're after a more laid-back, grown-up vibe.
Family-friendly – available on Saturdays, great for families with kids to enjoy the fun together.

Upon arrival at the beach club, you will have 1.5 hours to enjoy lunch and an open bar. The rest of the time is free to explore the island.
Loungers are not included at the beach club but may be rented, subject to availability. Guests are also welcome to remain in the lunch area.
Towels are provided for swim activities only and may not be taken onto the island.
Adults-only trips run on a Tuesday. Family-friendly trips run on a Saturday.
The minimum age allowed for snorkelling in Isla Mujeres is 10 years old, and the maximum recommended age is 60 years old.
Participation in snorkelling is not recommended for guests with medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, or heart problems.
Pregnant women may participate in the snorkelling activity at their own risk. However, it is recommended only up to five months of pregnancy.
Aquatic activities under the influence of alcohol are strictly prohibited.

The boat itself and staff on there were brilliant, really enjoyed this part of the trip and they made it very fun. Unfortunately the trip overall was 13 hours! We were advised 4-8 hours, we were picked up at 7:22am, and arrived back at the hotel at 8pm. We wouldn’t have booked this if we knew the coach journey was 2 hours each way alone and it would be such a long day in general. We also found the time on the island so long, there isn’t much to do there and the brunch wasn’t great.

Amazing long day, worth every penny and well organised. Beautiful island which got to explore for over 3 hours, hiring a golf buggy is a must and not too expensive and so much fun

Advised to be at pick up at 8:40 for 8:50 departure. We were waiting for 50 mins. Check in process was unnecessarily chaotic. Catamaran was nice and clean and crew were all wonderful but too many people scrambling for seats. Liberal with on board drinks. On shore brunch was terrible. Cold and horrible food. Overall, it was just ok but a little pricey. Definitely should not be classed as luxury

Trip says 4-8hours, was 13 hours in total, which isn’t enjoyable. Why are there pickup and drop offs, we are paying a ridiculous amount, transfers should be private for hotel. Island was boring and nothing to it

Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula is loaded with wild landscapes, and you'll have a chance to dive into them on this full-day itinerary. You'll tick off everything from a visit to a monkey sanctuary to an ATV ride in the jungle, with some snorkelling in Akumal Bay thrown in for good measure. Javier, an expert local guide, says “this activity is perfect if you want to leave the big cities and hotels behind for a while and experience Mexico's greener side. Cenotes, wildlife, beaches, jungle – you'll encounter them all.”You'll start your day with a visit to the Akumal Monkey Sanctuary, a place where rescued animals from around the area are looked after and treated. You'll be shown around by one of the people who work here, and you'll be introduced to some of the primates and birds currently being cared for. Then, you'll switch things up a few gears for an ATV ride through the jungle. You can get behind the controls of a vehicle as you head to a cenote tucked away within the greenery. For three decades, Holbox has been part of Yum Balam Nature Reserve. And if you're doing the tour between June and September, you may be lucky enough to catch sight of the island's flamboyant flamingos.Plus, you'll discover the beauty of the secluded beaches of tiny Isla Pasion – Holbox itself boasts 36km of white-sand strands – before heading to the eco-resort for lunch followed by downtime on the sunloungers.
