The correspondence with Travco was poor. We asked a couple of times for a copy of itinerary but we’re sent only a partial copy despite chasing. It was our guide who finally gave us a copy. It’s a lot of money to spend to not be sure of what you’re doing. However, the trip was excellent and our guide Mohamed Zahar was fantastic! His knowledge was amazing, he made everything run so smoothly. It’s a long couple of days but completely worth it. Drivers were great too. Would definitely recommend.

Day 1
Begin your journey with a scenic drive from your hotel in Hurghada to Cairo, following the picturesque Red Sea coast. Upon arrival in Giza, you will be welcomed by the last remaining wonder of the ancient world – the Great Pyramids. Stand before these monumental tombs, uncover their mysteries, and admire the timeless presence of the Great Sphinx.
Afterwards, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before checking in to your hotel. In the evening, experience a memorable dinner cruise on the Nile, complete with traditional live music, a belly-dancing performance, a Tanoora show, and an open buffet dinner.
Day 2
After breakfast, your day begins with a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) – the world’s largest archaeological museum, home to thousands of remarkable artifacts, including the full treasure collection of King Tutankhamun displayed together for the first time.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the historic Salah El-Din Citadel, the fortified stronghold that served as the seat of Egypt’s rulers for nearly 700 years and offers spectacular views over Cairo. Weather permitting, round off your Cairo experience with a relaxing felucca sail on the Nile before returning to Hurghada.
