Cruising by the iconic Isola Bella at sunset, with an aperitif in hand, you'll really take your holiday to the next level. And that's just the first part of the trip. Once you've admired the coastline, you'll be whisked further from the coast to the Isola Bella marine reserve. Here, we'll begin our search for dolphins - if we are lucky enough to spot a group, we will approach cautiously so we can observe them without disturbing them.

Please note, excursions are carried out in full respect of the marine environment. Noises or gestures that could disturb the dolphins are not allowed, nor will it be allowed to feed them.
The crew on board will give a safety briefing before departure
Dolphins are wild animals – we cannot guarantee a sighting. Tickets will not be refunded if no dolphins are sighted.
We prioritize responsible and respectful wildlife viewing on all of our dolphin and whale-watching tours, and we try to avoid interfering with their natural behaviours as much as possible. While sightings can't be 100% guaranteed due to this conservation-focused effort, we'll try our best to make sure you see them.

Het was erg onduidelijk waar we moesten zijn. De plek die in de mail stond klopte niet. Dus wij zoeken en zoeken in de brandende zon. Heel vervelend De tocht duurde maar 1,5 uur ipv 2-4 vanwege hoge golven. Kan gebeuren maar we gingen ineens terug zonder dat er iets gezegd werd en toen de excursie afgelopen. Weggegooid geld dus. Vooral omdat we hem eigenlijk 2 dagen daarvoor al zouden doen. Toen werden we 25 minuten van te voren gebeld dat het niet doorging vanwege hoge golven

Enig minpuntje was dat de boot wat later was en de persoon die bij het verzamelpunt stond liet ons in de volle zon wachten. Dikke plus voor de bestuurder van de boot die veel wist te vertellen over de omgeving en precies wist waar de dolfijnen zaten.

Een zeer enthousiaste schipper/ gids liet ons eerst alle mooie eilandjes, grotten en strandjes zien! We werden getracteerd op Ciciliaanse Arancini en een lekker glaasje wijn.Daarna gingen we op zoek naar de dolfijnen. Helaas lieten zij zich niet zien. Toch was het een mooi avontuur, met dank aan Nando.

This is your chance to venture either 1,900 or 2,900 metres above sea level to check out the lunar-like landscapes of the volcano's craters. You'll be driven from Taormina to Rifugio Sapienza, where – if you've chosen to go up to 2,900 metres – you'll switch to a cable car and 4x4 vehicle to reach the main crater for a guided walk and some epic views. If you opt to stay at 1,900 metres, there's free time to explore the nature trails around the Silvestri Craters, along with souvenir shops, cafés and a small museum that tells the story of the mountain's past.
