On entering the departure area we were unable to locate the VIP fast track desk. We saw three different TUI reps in the departure area inside the main entrance and not one of them had a clue where the meeting place was. We showed them them confirmation documents and we were met with complete " I have not got a clue what this is". After going through the booking procedure, passport and security checks we had so little time left in the VIP lounge to make use of those facilities. A waste of money.

The VIP Service at Dalaman Airport through to the lounge was the best thing I have ever done.....!!!! I'm a frequent traveller - the staff walked us thro the airport, security, etc like we were Royality. Would definitely recommend, will definitely do again - well worth the money spent. Thanks

No one there to meet us and after speaking to 2 tui reps and waiting for nearly an hour some one from the airport told us that they had never been informed that we were booked in After eventually getting our bags checked in we would have been quicker going through with everyone else We ended up only having 1 hour 45 minutes in the lounge. What a waste of £150 . The rep in the hotel told us that it was all in place and we would be dropped off first to be met which did not happen.

We also booked fast-track at Dalaman. As we had enough time, everything went well and we really enjoyed the experience. Well worth it compared to food and drink prices around the airport.

Fantastic service, a speedy, hassle free journey through passport control, check-in etc. The food in the lounge was the same as I had 2 years ago. Maybe change the menu?

Surrounding yourself with natural beauty on a river cruise from Dalyan is a great way to unwind. You'll then add a little history and culture to the mix, as you continue on the riverboat past Lycian Rock Tombs – dating back to 400BC – carved into the cliffs.As the river widens into a lagoon, you'll have the chance to spot birdlife before docking at Iztuzu Beach. This 4km-long sweep of golden sand divides the river from the sea, a natural oasis that's a true haven for wildlife. You'll explore the Dalyan Delta, starting with Dalyan's old town, followed by a barbecue dinner and an evening boat trip. Elif, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Lycian Rock Tombs are elaborate burial chambers that were carved into the cliffs over two millennia ago by the Lycians to honour members of the ruling class. They are dramatically lit in the evening – it's a really atmospheric experience.'First up, you'll have a couple of hours to explore Dalyan's historic town centre under the twinkle of dusk. It's home to a variety of shops, cafés, and historical sites, and known for its traditional Turkish architecture, with Ottoman influences from the 16th-century. Look out for the intricately decorated Dalyan mosque – and the friendly locals.After your free time in town, it's time for dinner. You'll tuck into a Turkish barbecue at a riverside restaurant where you can relax and enjoy the locally sourced, freshly prepared food. And to round off the evening, you'll enjoy a tranquil boat ride along the Dalyan River to see the famous Lycian tombs carved into the rock face. These tombs date back to the 4th century BC – so they're almost 2,500 years old – and show influences of Anatolian, Greek and Persian designs.
