Descubra Itálica; a primeira cidade autenticamente romana da Espanha localizada a apenas 15 minutos de Sevilha. Foi fundada em 206 a.C. pelo general romano Públio Cornélio Cipião Africano e foi o local de nascimento de dois imperadores romanos, Trajano e Adriano.
Atualmente denominado Conjunto Arqueológico de Itálica, os visitantes hoje podem passear pelas ruas antigas e explorar as ruínas de casas e edifícios públicos. Um espetáculo que deve ser visto é o anfiteatro. Tinha capacidade para 25.000 pessoas e era o terceiro maior do Império Romano. Outros pontos turísticos importantes incluem os pisos de mosaico, o Traianeum, as estátuas de Diana, Vênus e Trajano, os banhos públicos e o teatro romano parcialmente reconstruído em Santiponce. Graças ao facto de nenhuma das seguintes civilizações se ter estabelecido sobre as ruínas de Itálica, é uma cidade bastante bem preservada e que merece uma visita.
