O que fazer em Rhine Falls
Come and visit the most powerful waterfall in Europe! Feel the splash and be hypnotised by the roar of the water that falls at 23 meters.
With only a 40-minute drive from Zurich, it’s easily accessible to visit and is perfect for an exciting day out.
You can get up and close to the cascading water by standing on viewing platforms or going on boat rides. Laufen Castle sits majestically over the falls and has a glass panoramic elevator for amazing vistas too. Look out for the gigantic rock jutting out in the middle of the falls!
Walk around the basin of the fall and breathe in the fresh Swiss air (look out for the yellow signs!). The route will take you over the train bridge and near Wörth Castle with its panorama restaurant that hangs over the water.
Don’t miss out on Rhine Falls at night as they are illuminated after dark. Listening to the sound of the falling water in the darkness is a thrilling experience!
