What to expect

During a safe and comfortable 5-hour cruise, you have the chance to learn about the history of the Holy Monasteries of Mount Athos and marvel at their unique architecture.

Leaving the rest of the world behind you, you head into the ascetic community of the Holy Mountain, and starting from the Holy Monastery of Dochiarion, you encounter monasteries, small monastic villages (Sketes), and Dafni, the main port of Mount Athos.

In this mixed cruise, you will have the opportunity to see 6 of 9 monasteries of Athos, since it is combined with a 1,5-hour stop at the astonishing island of Ammouliani. You will stop at the island for 1 hour and 30 minutes, where you have free time for swimming, shopping, lunch.

Meeting point:
Meet at the Ouranoupoli's port, located near the Tower of Prosphorion. EIRINIKOS is the name of the boat and it will be anchored in the third place on the right side. Please make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before the starting time.
What to remember

Know in advance:

  • After the sightseeing cruise to the monasteries of Athos to the port of Daphne , you will visit the island of Ammouliani, so take your swimsuit for a dive in the crystalline waters
  • A fully equipped bar is available in the lounge for refreshments, drinks, and coffee with an extra charge
  • During May and October, a stop is made in the island's central port of Ammouliani
  • During the summer months, the stop is at the famous Alikes lagoon (stop at the port of the beach for swimming or lunch at the lagoon's restaurant)
  • If the weather is not suitable, especially if strong winds prevent us from docking at the beach of Alikes, the captain may choose a safer port for your stop

    Check in was easy when we got to the boat and the lady was really friendly..the top deck was full up.so.we had a great spot at the back of the boat and when we turned around at Mount Athos the sun was on us. The beach stop went so quickly, we had a good look around amd looked for fish in the sea. Tour length was just right and we got a good tan

    Die Tour ging ein Teil der Halbinsel Athos entlang. Unterwegs erfuhr man etwas über die Geschichte und weitere Informationen. Auf dem Weg Richtung Amouliani hatte man einen tollen Blick auf den Berg Athos. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist völlig OK. Wir hatten das Glück Delfine zu sehen. Ein Platz auf der linken Seite des Schiffes ist vorteilhaft für den Blick auf die Halbinsel Athos. Das Schiff war voll aber nicht überfüllt. Rechtzeitiges erscheinen hilft bei der Platzwahl.
