First part of the was going to a restaurant to look at a view. Very nice view but not an experience also made to feel you needed to buy a drink. Second part the Palace amazing place and worth the time. It was the only place I found where they won't let you take pictures, even the mosques allow you to take pictures.

Go to Çamlica Hill and Yeditepe, where you can get a great panoramic view of Istanbul and Bosphorus from one of the highest and most appealing places in the city.
