What to expect

Enjoy privacy on this day tour visiting Phang Nga's highlights with a private car and a private boat trip.

Retake the famous picture of the 1974 James Bond film "The Man with the Golden Gun" at Ko Tapu and explore the famous floating village Ko Panyi, established over 200 years ago by Indonesian fishermen, where you will have a delicious buffet lunch. Optionally, let a local show you around by kayak and discover Phang Nga's mangroves and caves.

Next, visit a 15-meter-high reclining Buddha in a cave temple located on a limestone mountain. Complete your experience at Samet Nangshe viewpoint where you can enjoy a 180-degree view over Phang Nga Bay and the largest mangrove forest in Thailand.

08:30 am - Hotel pickup anywhere in Khao Lak with a private car

Know in advance

  • Make sure you are dressed properly by temple standards to visit Cave Temple. That is, no bare shoulders, no bare knees
  • Pickup times vary based on your hotel's location. Pick-up from anywhere in Phang Nga is also possible
  • Maximum 9 people in 1 car
  • The driver of the private car speaks a little bit of English, just enough to communicate about the tour. Though it is not a proper tour guide. We will provide a document with more information on the stops we are visiting with the car
  • Local Thai captain of the private boat speaks basic English sufficient for essential communication about the tour
  • Southern Thailand's rainfall is unpredictable, particularly during the monsoon season from May to December. Rest assured, the tour is guaranteed to proceed if conditions are safe, even in light rain
  • The transfer time between Khoa Lak and Phang Nga is about 1.5 hours one-way

    Travelled as a couple

    Der Fahrer vom Shuttle Service sprach fast gar kein Englisch. Ein bisschen Kommunikation wäre bei den langen Wegstrecken schon sehr schön gewesen. Ansonsten war dieser aber sehr bemüht und hat seine Aufgabe hervorragend gemacht.
