What to expect

The islands to the north of Kos are dotted with peaceful coves, sandy beaches and cute harbours. And they're exactly where you'll be spending the day on this Aegean cruise. There'll be three stops throughout the day, when you'll have plenty of time to swim if you wish. And you'll step ashore at Pserimos and Vathi on Kalymnos.

Vathi boasts a picturesque, horseshoe-shaped bay with calm waters and a pretty town, it's the ideal place for some doing a bit of wandering. Back onboard, you'll tuck into lunch and round off the day with a swim stop off Plati. All you have to do is bring your sun cream and towel.

Your journey will take you across to the tiny isle of Nera, home to a single house and a handful of deserted coves. Sailing onwards to Kalymnos Island, you'll reach the shores around Vlyxadia where you'll be able to cool off in the Aegean and try your hand at snorkelling if you're in the mood. The waters here are calm and clear – and if you're lucky, you may be able to spot the dolphins and sea turtles that call the area home.You'll have free time to make the most of the great swimming spots, top up your tan on deck, or see what you can spot underwater. By lunchtime, you'll be ready for a freshly prepared lunch made with locally sourced ingredients.
