TUI had the times wrong, we got told 20.15 and they rang us at 19.30 to say our pick up had arrived, we missed half of our dinner due to this. No hot chocolate was offered at all, which was part of the booking. The guide had to cover about 4 languages, could have covered more info if this was not the case.

The skies above La Palma come alive at night, and with some of the clearest skies in Europe, you're in the right place to go stargazing. With the right weather conditions, the Milky Way is dazzling against crystal-clear dark skies. Due to a very restrictive lighting policy across the island, outdoor lights on La Palma are well shielded and the night-time sky is dark. For the real show you have to leave the coastline and drive up to the mountains to one of the many astronomical view points in La Palma.
You'll drive to the designated point, which is one of the best places for stargazing. After making the most of 90 minutes of astronomical observation, you'll have time to take some night photos.
