What to expect

Tukxis are nippy three-wheel vehicles ideal for taking you where coaches can't. On this tour, a driver will navigate Madeira's mountain roads to places where there are wow-out-loud vistas over Funchal Bay and neighbouring islands. You'll see Garajau and Pinaculo viewpoints, as well as the Cristo Rei statue – Portugal's own Christ the Redeemer.

    Unsere Buchung war bestätigt für 11 Uhr, deutsche Sprache. Niemand holte uns ab, Kontakt zum TUI Service Deutschland ergab wir hätten anderen Abholort gewünscht, hatten wir aber nicht. Nach mehrerem Hin und Her kam unser Tukxi doch noch, mit John, der nur Englisch sprach. Wir entschieden uns dennoch für die Tour. John hat uns umsichtig gefahren, tolle Aussichtspunkte gezeigt und uns einiges erzählt. So war es schlussendlich eine schöne 2stündige Tour bei strahlendem Sonnenschein. Erlebenswert!

    Schöne Fahrt, man bekommt unterwegs erste Eindrücke und Infos von Funchal. Absolutes Highlight war die Christus Rei Statue.
