What to expect

Join this full-day tour as you visit Madeira's Southern coast, your guide will take you through the peaceful and beautiful villages by the sea. Start the tour by visiting the villages of Ponta do Sol, Madalena do Mar and Paúl do Mar which are very well known for their large production of sugar canes and bananas.

You'll then continue your trip to Ponta do Pargo, where you can admire one of the most emblematic lighthouse situated further west of the island and take your lunch break. Various snack bars, restaurants or coffee shops are available to grab some lunch.

In Calheta village you will find one of the two man-made golden sandy beaches that Madeira has to offer.

You will have the opportunity to visit the Engenho da Calheta (Sugar cane factory) where you can admire how the sugar cane rum is made and have the opportunity to walk around the distillery.
