Looming large over the waterfront, Palma's La Seu Cathedral is a symbol of the city. One of the largest cathedrals in the world, this Gothic masterpiece is one of Majorca's must-see sights. The Cathedral began life in the 13th-century and has been developed and enhanced in almost every century since, with improvements to the interior by legendary architect, Antoni Gaudí, in the early 1900s.     We were not told when booking our shoulders needed to be covered and even though my tshirt covered my shoulders I had to go and buy a coverup before I could get in!!

    Self guided tour, the cathedral was very busy but this is to be expected in summer. No bag search or security measures. The booking process and checking of tickets was simple.

    There was a terrace tour available at the cathedral but not shown as an option to book on the TUI app. Would have been good to have this option to book.
