Entrance tickets for the Sainte Chapelle and Conciergerie

A mediocre rating not because of musement, but because of the long wait at Sainte Chappelle, despite the fact that we had paid tickets. We waited more than an hour in the rain. Perhaps musement could offer front of the line benefits. Seeing Sainte Chapelle and the Conciergerie was excellent.

Security was tighter (i.e., airport security like body scan), part of the stained glass was being renovated (though they did a clever job using reflective sheets), and the gift shop was closed for inventory. Signage and info brochures in general were not as good as in other museums and monuments.

St Chapelle, especially the upper chapel, is fabulous. As it shares common grounds with the Supreme Court it’s necessary to go through security. I use a walker and they pulled me aside to tell me about the outside elevator that allowed me to view everything. We totally skipped the line!
