This adventure sees you revving and zooming through the frostbitten landscapes of Lapland. You'll hop on a snowmobile and bump past snow-capped forests to enjoy the beauty of the region – with an injection of adrenaline – during this two-hour guided daytime exploration.

What to remember
  • Each snowmobile is shared by two guests taking turns in driving
  • Drivers must be over 18 years and hold a full UK driving licence which needs to be brought on the excursion
  • Taking alcohol or drugs is not permitted before or during the tour
  • Your maximum personal liability is €980 with the insurance, your self liability can be reduced to €150 by paying a waiver supplement of €20 per safari driver in resort
  • It's possible to ride solo for a €55 supplement per person, sold in resort
  • All optional excursions are timed to complement your 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 night stay in Lapland - we will confirm the most appropriate time for your chosen excursion on arrival in Lapland
  • Snowmobile safaris are not suitable for children under two years old
  • A child is allowed to sit on the snowmobile behind an adult, if they are over 140cm tall, physically strong enough, the adult helmet fits and they pay the adult price
  • Children under 12 years old and under 140cm tall will pay a child price and must travel in a seat in the sleigh, pulled by the snowmobile, driven by the guide. If they are under 4 years old they need to be accompanied by an adult in the sleigh.
  • Not suitable for expectant mothers
  • Not suitable for those with reduced mobility
  • Bring a valid driving licence

    It was a really lovely tour, however it would have been nice for a few stops for photo opportunities, it was straight there stopped for 5mins and straight back. I would have liked to have taken some picture of the trail we did. Otherwise it was fab

    The guide was very friendly and patient and made sure everyone was comfortable and understood the instructions giving these at a level for adults and children to understand well. The time on the snow mobiles was lengthy and the route was good making it fun and scenic at same time. The hot drinks provided at our break stop was a welcome addition.

    Enjoyed the snowmobile ride and scenery was fantastic. The only downside was I thought insurance was covered until we were told that if we damaged a snowmobile we would have to pay an excess of 980 euros unless we paid an additional 20 euros per driver which meant an additional cost of 100 euros. Very disappointing and unfair to say insurance is included.

    The whole experience was incredible! The routes were fantastic and the hot berry juice by the fire half way was a treat. The most fun me and my partner had all holiday!

    The tour is advertised as 2 hours it’s more like 1 hour 20 mins I paid for 2 adults & 1 child assumed it was 2 snowmobiles it was only 1 wanted another £55 so would have been£390
