What to expect

Discover the artistic town of Szentendre (often referred to as the Artists Village) during a half-day tour along the Danube River. Explore the Mediterranean atmosphere in this charming town with a professional guide.

You'll travel back in time as you walk through the baroque town centre. Pop into souvenir shops, discover restaurants, coffee shops and art galleries. Take a cosy walk on vintage streets beloved by artists since the 18th and 19th centuries.

Afterwards, climb aboard the public boat and enjoy a scenic view as you cruise back to Budapest city centre.

Know in advance:

return transportation by boat will be available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday tours (from May until October 1st), on Tuesdays and Thursdays, you will come back to Budapest by bus
from October to April, the return transfer will be provided by bus
in case of low water level, the return to Budapest-city center will be by bus
the bus ride will last around 45 minutes, and is subject to traffic conditions
please note, the tour ends at the city center pier or at the departure point
the tour may be operated by a multilingual guide

This was a very fun activity. The village is so colorful and charming. And I loved the Marzipan museum.
