What to expect

A must-see when in Helsingborg is Sofiero Castle and Park. Enjoy a stroll through the picturesque park, admire breathtaking views of Öresund, and visit the exhibitions inside the castle. (During 2023 the castle is closed for renovations. Opening expected first week of June 2024.)

Located north of Helsingborg this old summer residence of the royal family is a great place to visit when in the area. Explore the beautiful park with its various gardens and colorful flowers that crown princess Margareta designed years ago. The gardens are still kept with its original historical touch. Dive into the history of this fascinating place and visit the various ongoing exhibitions. This ticket is also valid for Sofiero Midsummer (21st of June 2024), Sofiero Classic (Classical cars in the park - 29th-30th of June), Gardening Days (22nd of August - 1st of September).

Please note that the castle is closed for extensive renovations for the whole 2023 season, so you'll visit the park only. The castle will be open from the beginning of June 2024
This entrance ticket is valid for regular days, Sofiero Classic, Swedish Midsummer, Gardening days and end season day
You can bring your own food and drinks to the park
On the following dates of the season 2024, Sofiero will host concerts in the park. This means closing at 3 pm and a bigger stage is blocking the front side of the castle. 25th and 26th of June; 17th, 18th. 25th and 26th of July; 15th and 16th of August. The castle front will not be visible because of the concert stage
