- Dress appropriately when visiting monasteries. In both, men are required to wear a t-shirt with sleeves, covering the shoulders. Women are required to cover their shoulders, wear long skirts (not trousers) which go over the knee and cover hair
- Scarves are available to cover hair at a rental cost of EUR 3.50 at each monastery
- Not suitable for small children, pushchairs or guests with reduced mobility due to the long journey time and many steps
