What to expect

Explore the San Miguel and Arona Coast on board of a jet ski! You'll meet your guide at the port of San Miguel where you'll receive a brief explanation on how to drive the jet ski correctly.

Then, you'll be ready to start your adventure and admire several spots: the Yellow Mountain, the bay of Costa del Silencio, Las Galletas, the light house of Punta Rasca, the red Mountain, El Medano and Pelada Mountain. During your ride, you may be able to observe whales, dolphins and other species that inhabit the waters in Tenerife.

Ivan, one of our expert local guides, says “Vilaflor was once called Chasna. But, when a ship captain called Pedro de Bracamonte visited, he spotted a beautiful Guanche girl and shouted Vi la flor de Chasna, which means I've seen the flower of Chasna – after this, the village got its name.”The dry climate and year-round sunshine in the Canaries mean that aloe vera thrives here, even though it is not a native species – it originally came from the Arabian Peninsula.
