Depart from Rome on a 1.5-hour high-speed train journey to Florence. Once in Florence, you'll proceed directly to the meeting point, a 25-minute walk from the train station. There you'll meet your guide and embark on your Tuscany adventure.
Your first destination is a winery where you'll taste four different wines, including the renowned Chianti Classico, and Super Tuscan wine. Additionally, you'll sample a 30-year-old balsamic vinegar and a delightful truffle extra virgin olive oil. After this enriching experience, a 15-minute drive will take you to the second winery.
At the second winery, situated in a picturesque area known for producing DOCG Vernaccia white wine and offering views of San Gimignano's iconic towers, you'll be guided through the vineyards and cellars. The winemakers will share their secrets of wine and oil production, and you'll taste three wines, including the famous Vernaccia white wine. You'll also have the chance to purchase local products and wine at attractive prices to take home or ship to friends and family.
In the afternoon, you'll explore San Gimignano's narrow streets, shop, and enjoy world-champion gelato. You'll return to Florence around 5:00 pm. The team will then give you suggestions to explore iconic landmarks like Pitti Palace, Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo in complete freedom.
