Wir waren erst unschlüssig, ob wir bis auf den höchsten Punkt mitfahren sollten und haben daher erst nur die 1900 meter gebucht. Aber die Reiseleiterin war sehr nett und hat uns überzeugt, nachzubuchen und das hat sich absolut gelohnt!

Travel to Etna’s base station at Rifugio Sapienza with a multilingual tour guide. Take advantage of some free time with the possibility of soft trekking to visit the most recent lava flows and the Silvestri craters (extra ticket), now extinct. Optionally, taste some street food or lunch at the refuge.
