The calm coastal waters around Tenerife are home to an incredible array of marine life. On this exclusive adults-only cruise, you'll have a chance to spot pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins as they leap and frolic in their natural North Atlantic habitat.

Take in Tenerife's dramatic coastal terrain, all while sunning yourself and feeling the cool breeze as you lounge on deck – for your comfort, the boat is a quarter under capacity. Your captain will sail into waters known for hosting pods of dolphins and whales. With luck, you'll get to spot these magnificent creatures. You'll even have time to take a swim.

And to top it all off, you'll be pampered by the crew. There'll be complimentary drinks at the shaded bar, and you'll lunch on board. It's a great morning or afternoon searching for some of Mother Nature's most interesting creatures while chilling out on board.

Precariously perched on a ridge overlooking a rugged gorge, it's one of Tenerife's most jaw-dropping sights.Next, you'll head down to Garachico on the coast, and discover why it's known as the ‘prettiest and unluckiest' town on the island. Stroll by its famous lava pools and see the historic castle before a lunch made from locally sourced ingredients in a family-run restaurant. It's an ideal setting for savouring Canarian cuisine. The afternoon sees you exploring the jagged peaks in craggy Teno Rural Park. It's famed for its laurel and pine forests as well as its exotic flora. Finally, there's a well-earned local wine-tasting experience to complete your day.

Sea Quest Sailboat Tour to El Palmar Caves & Cliffs

Relaxing aboard a boat is the perfect way to get away from it all. Sailing along the scenic shoreline to El Palmar, you'll spend either a morning or an afternoon bobbing along the southwest coast. Soak in the views as you top up your tan, watching out for the likes of dolphins and whales.With a maximum of 11 guests, this is a pretty exclusive sailing trip. You'll cast off onboard the luxurious Sea Quest FF, and with your captain and crew taking care of everything, all you'll need to do is sit back and enjoy the ride. Plenty of marine life call these waters home, so make sure to lookout for dolphins, whales and even a turtle or two.You'll glide past the impressive cliff faces of El Palmar, and – if the weather allows – get a glimpse inside the intricate caves carved from the rocks. To finish your cruise, your captain will drop anchor in the glimmering waters of the Atlantic for a chance to cool off before heading back.

Camino Real Hiking Tour

This walking tour gives you all the many views of Tenerife. You'll hike along the Camino Real, or Royal Path, then venture along the agricultural terraces where tropical fruits grow in abundance. After a bus transfer from your hotel, you'll begin trekking along the Camino Real, a route that cuts through some of Tenerife's undulating and captivating terrain. You'll have views of the might Teide and surrounding jagged peaks in the distance too.Then, during the next part of the walk, you'll meander through terraces where tropical fruits such as bananas, mango and papaya grow, and the likes of goats and ostriches roam through the fields. This is a medium difficulty level walk over approximately four hours.
